My name is Ryan Reber, Architect in Urbana, Illinois.
The Archi.Blog will be a repository of architecture, design, and anything else that I find cool.
My wife Katrina and I found a great mid-century house in Urbana. We had been ruminating on what color to paint it for some time. When we bought the house, the paint was a safe but rather dull color – PPG’s “Stonehenge Greige”. A Neolithic inspired, unholy matrimony between Grey and Beige. Yuck.
This summer, we finally decided on Benjamin Moore’s “Country Redwood”. Red is my favorite color, and Katrina convinced me that we should go for it. Looks pretty good!
